Our last camping spot for the trip was a small RV Park, Newberry Mountain RV Park (Newberry Springs, CA). We got a spot with full hookups, though no shade.

At the end of this day, we were all in agreement (including Cooper) that we should try to limit every driving day to 4 hours, tops. Of course, battling the wind made this stretch worse than it would have been otherwise, but we still think 4 hours a day on the road is enough. No big surprise there, since numerous other RVers recommend that as a goal when planning your route.
